The New Methods for Alarm Rationalisation

Only when you recognise that false alarms are viewed as a fact of life, do you comprehend how serious the issue is. Operating under widened alarms not only has an impact upon control room safety but also significantly impacts production, resulting in financial burdens.

Geometric Process Control (GPC)

Annual TAP Forum

The TAP Forum is PPCL’s education highlight of the year. The annual forum is strictly a customers-only event which is used to give clients an insight into PPCL’s R&D as well as product and technology directions. In addition to this, a large amount of customer participation is requested and interested parties present their experiences with various facets of Geometric Process Control (GPC).

The Forum is held in the spring of each year in or near to London and is a key element in communicating GPC developments and understanding customers' future needs. TAP subscribers may send two delegates per site (with more allowed if space permits) free with their subscription.

The next TAP forum is 18-20 April 2012.

Customers without a TAP Subscription may send delegates to the forum itself at a fee.
