New CVE version 2.5.3 is here!

A growing number of customers are now using multicore processors. CVE 2.5.3 automatically makes use of multiple cores if present to speed up the drawing. It also uses an improved drawing algorithm developed as part of a grant-funded research project.Together these improvements can reduce the drawing time for large datasets...

The New Methods for Alarm Rationalisation

Only when you recognise that false alarms are viewed as a fact of life, do you comprehend how serious the issue is. Operating under widened alarms not only has an impact upon control room safety but also significantly impacts production, resulting in financial burdens.

Geometric Process Control (GPC)

Geometric Process Control (GPC) is essentially a patented graphical technology which has been applied to the process industries to enable new levels of process control that were previously not achievable. Process engineers can directly leverage their process knowledge without mathematical intervention.

20 Patents and Counting

PPCL was founded to provide the latest technology to enable visualisation and process improvement across the process industries. In our commitment to this goal we spend much time researching new methods in this field. So it is no wonder that we have a number of patents in the area. This week our latest patent was granted bringing us to a grand total of 20 patents from across the UK, Europe, USA and Japan.

Our unique, patented technology has seen us continually developing new applications for the process industry. This has lead us to many world firsts including: Unification of alarms, process control and achievement of business operating objectives; no-maths MIMO controller for batch and continuous processes; a no-maths solution to the process analytical technology (PAT) and quality by design (QbD) requirements in the pharma industry and the only method to find values for alarm and operating limits. We have also developed a new technology which has the ability to predict events such as pack-off’s up to 15 minutes before they occur, a revolution in safety and process improvement.

So this week we celebrate this tremendous milestone in the world of process control research and development. To find out more about our numerous patents or for licensing enquiries please email us.
